John Rodriguez

President & Founder

What captivates me is putting things in the right relationships to one another in order to establish regenerative and self-sustaining systems which benefit living things and the earth. 'Design' in this sense is clearly not accomplished by the work of one individual. This type of holistic design calls on the knowledge of many great people - designers, planners, scientists, sociologists, the community itself, and many many more.

Joey Walsh

Treasurer

My name is Joey Walsh and I am a fourth year Cellular & Molecular Biology major at Cal Poly. I am also minoring in Philosophy and and officer in the Central Coast SCUBA Club. I was first introduced to Biomimicry through Jenine Benyus's TED talk about a year and a half ago and was truly inspired. With the ever growing brain-power of our species, it’s great that some of that intelligence is being invested in truly revolutionary and ingenious ideas that life has naturally been taking advantage of for over 3.8 billion years. I implore you to come collaborate with us!
